About Paula
I have been working as a fitness instructor since 2007and added Nutrition in 2008 after 3 and a half years of studies with CNM in Griffith College.
It has been a great success due to the combination of fitness, nutrition and continued education which is a massive factor for me to ensure the best possible results. I strive in correcting technique and body alignments and have the knowledge to provide postural exercises for correct form and strength of the body due to my education at the CHEK (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology) Institute in the UK in 2010 and continued current education in Neuromuscular Therapy. I have authored a FETAC approved Nutrition course for The Open College in 2014 where I am a tutor for Nutrition and Anatomy & Physiology.
My current studies in Neuromuscular Therapy with the National Training Centre is to deepen my knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology, the intention is not to practice Physical Therapy but to apply correct technique to areas of injury or misuse due to muscle imbalance or postural issues. Weight management and optimal health is a combination of factors, I believe exercise feels right when done right, there is no point in slamming yourself through a workout that will exasperate problems.
I also hold National Qualifications in Exercise and Fitness, Strength and Conditioning, Suspension Training(TRX), Stability Ball Training, Step Aerobics Kettlebell Training and First Aid.
Next on the schedule is a Golf Performance Course with CHEK Institute in the UK due to commence in June 2017.
